Ingredients

Scale
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • ½ teaspoon Chinese 5 spice
  • 1 tablespoon kosher salt
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 4 tablespoons hoisin
  • 34 pounds pork butt

Instructions

  1. Marinade instructions: Add ingredients except pork butt into a mixing bowl and mix well.
  2. Rub marinade onto pork butt.
  3. Cover and place in refrigerator overnight.
  4. Place marinated pork butt into covered roasting pan.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees for 2-3 hours, or until tender.
  6. Let cool.
  7. Slice and serve over hot rice or noodles.
