Do you have a bunch of fresh herbs that you don’t know what to do with? Look no further than the delicious and easy-to-make Green Goddess Salad Dressing! This creamy, bright, and flavorful dressing is the perfect way to use up all those leftover herbs. With just a few simple ingredients, you can whip up a tasty dressing that will elevate your salad game.

Parsley, dill, and tarragon pack this creamy Green Goddess Salad Dressing with herb-fresh flavor. No need for lots of chopping; let the food processor do all the work in this delicious herb-packed sauce. This dressing is a California classic. It makes a great dip for crudités and a wonderful dressing for robust lettuces like romaine hearts, but it’s too thick and intense for delicate spring mixes.

Green goddess salad dressing was conceived in San Francisco at the historic Palace Hotel in the 1920s. It was supposedly created to honor George Arliss after the opening of the hit play The Green Goddess. It was revived in the ’70s and ’80s when salad dressing was cast as a healthy option and became beloved amongst the health food circle before it was mainstream.

There are so many benefits to making your own dressing, especially when it comes to Green Goddess dressing! For starters, you can customize the flavor to your own preference. You can add more or less of certain ingredients to suit your taste, and you can even mix in other herbs and spices to create something entirely new.

Another benefit of making your own salad dressing is that you know exactly what goes into it. Store-bought dressings often contain unhealthy preservatives and artificial flavors, but when you make your own, you’re in control of what goes in. You can make sure that everything you’re using is fresh and of the highest quality.

Finally, homemade dressings are usually much more cost-effective than store-bought. With just a few simple ingredients and a few minutes of your time, you can create a delicious and nutritious dressing that’s much healthier than anything you can buy at the store.
