Perfect Baked Potato – Olive oil, salt, and pepper: This baked potato recipe is as blank-slate as it gets. Feel free to add other spices to the salt-and-pepper mix, such as cumin or smoked paprika, and finish with sour cream, bacon bits and whatever cheese you like.

Potatoes have been a staple food around the world for centuries. Historically, many communities have relied on these root vegetables to meet the majority of their nutritional needs. In addition to being a satisfying snack, potatoes are easy to grow and can be found all across the globe. In recent years, the popularity of low-carb diets has caused some people to avoid potatoes. In reality, baked potatoes are packed with nutrients and can be part of a healthy diet.

Air Fryer Baked Potatoes are also so simple and delicious. I’ve include Air Fryer instructions in the notes section below. Air Fryer Baked Potatoes are crisp on the outside yet tender and perfectly cooked on the inside, making it the best cooking method for a baked potato. The air fryer can cut your cooking time in half and provide super crispy results like our Air Fryer Boiled Eggs and Air Fryer Crab Ragoons. You’ll love the crisp salty skins on these potatoes.
